Advising Resource Centre
Advising Resource Centres, located in the Educational Advising Department at all Kwantlen campuses, are available to current and prospective students, staff and faculty members.
The following information and reference materials can be found at our Resource Centres:
- Checklists and handouts for Kwantlen programs
- Course planning guides for university transfer
- Career path information handouts
- University and college calendars for B.C. and other Canadian provinces
- Post-secondary information and a limited supply of calendars for institutions in the United States
- Information and reference materials on a wide range of career options
- Information on labour market trends
- Self-help guides for job search
- Information on community services and resources
- Videos about career options and other educational institutions
- Computerized educational information - "Explore", a program about education and training within B.C.
Student Peer Advisors are available in the Resource Centre on the Surrey and Richmond campuses to answer any general questions on Kwantlen programs and policies.
Resource Centres are open from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Extended hours are offered on the Surrey Campus from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm on every Monday and Tuesday.
