2012 Grad Show
Come and celebrate with our 4th year students as they present their final projects at the Architectural Institute of BC on Monday, April 16, 2012. You will see the culmination of four years of hard work, sleepless nights, endless cups of coffee... all in one show.
Projects include a yoga studio, nightclub, arts centre, youth centre, boutique hotel, entertainment centre, and much more. The event will take place at AIBC which is located at 100-440 Cambie Street in Vancouver. Light refreshments will be provided.

Speaking Engagement - Cornelia Oberlander
The Interior Design Department is pleased to present a speaking engagement with Cornelia Oberlander, Landscape Architect on Wednesday, February 29, 2012.
For over 60 years, Ms. Oberlander has created innovative and modern landscapes which have garnered her many awards and accolades. She has worked on such famous projects as Vancouver's Robson Square and Law Courts, UBC's Museum of Anthropology, and the New York Times Building.
Come and hear Ms. Oberlander speak of green cities!

Information Session
Information sessions are an important way to learn about the program and the portfolio/interview process. Sessions are held in October of each year on the Richmond Campus. Have all your questions answered by faculty who teach in the program, see current student work, and review student portfolios.

2011 Grad Show
On April 20, 2011, our fourth year Interior Design students held their Grad Show at the Hunter Bisset Gallery in Vancouver. The Grad show is the culmination of each student's 4 years of hard work and dedication. Set up gallery style, this showcase highlights our graduating students' diversity, passion and innovation in interior design. Check out some of our graduates as they were featured on The Express.
Grads Featured in the Georgia Straight
Cheryl Broadhead and Ada Bonini are graduates of Kwantlen's Interior Design program. They started their own firm, Bob's Your Uncle Design, in Vancouver, BC and have been featured in numerous magazines and articles. Click on this link to read the Georgia Straight article. Kwantlen graduate, Mazi Irani was recently featured on the Interior Designers of Canada site talking about hospitality design. Ms. Irani currently works for Stantec in Vancouver, BC. You can link to the video here.
