Sucess? That's Easy. Never Standing Still.

I will never let inertia get the best of me—never become a slave to my comfort zone or the status quo. To defy expectations—my own, and other people's too. I'm choosing perpetual motion…a constant striving to make a difference. Matter cannot be created. But ideas that matter—that's a different story.

The world needs leaders. Thought leaders. Change leaders. People who lead by action and example. People who see the leading edge in their rear view mirrors. I've got the three essential ingredients it takes to become such a leader: commitment, confidence and the know-how required to get the job done.

The wave of the future? You're looking at her.

"Be the change you want to see in the world." Mahatma Gandhi said that. And the message, to me, is simple: I have a choice. I can spend my life waiting and wishing and wondering why things aren't getting any better, or I can get busy changing my world. It's an easy choice.

I am the change.

People underestimate me all the time. It's a mistake they never make twice. I'm rising to all of life's challenges: light on my feet, quick-witted…and packing a punch. When people say I'm sharp and quick and full of surprises, it's not just my intellect they're talking about. It's my competitive edge.

A barista at my favourite coffee shop has a Master's degree in the Classics. She calls herself a student of the real world. In my real world, I'm in high demand for a career that challenges all of my knowledge and skills - not just my knack for making great coffee. I'll never spend my days doing one thing, all the while wishing I was doing something else. I'm ready for the challenges of the real world, and my phone is already ringing.

"Blink and you'll get left behind." My teacher's favourite saying. He's right, though. The world moves at light speed and changes in quantum leaps. My friends…they want an education that helps them keep up. I want one that lets me set the pace, and the direction.

I can't be squeezed onto a two-page résumé, and I'll definitely never fit into a pigeonhole. I'm a thinker and a doer. An athlete and an academic. An individual and a big piece in a far bigger picture. Don't ask me to be or do just one thing. Life's like an endless buffet of challenges and adventures. And I'm hungry.

Don't get me wrong: I'm a big fan of big ideas, and I plan on coming up with plenty of my own. But I'll be more than just a 'deep thinker' who scratches her head and stares at her navel all day long. My dad always says "Be a woman of action—someone who gets things done." Pretty good advice if you ask me. I don't need a degree that simply prepares me for getting another degree; I need a degree that prepares me for getting to work in the real world.

For some people, "Good enough" is good enough. Other people like to raise the bar a bit. In my world, there is no bar. There are no limits. I am as deep and as full of possibilities as my universe. My only limitations are the ones that I place on myself and those add up to exactly…none.

I am unstoppable.
